I haven't decided yet if I'll keep this blog going much longer. It will depend on how much time I have and whether or not I end up living and teaching overseas in the near future.
But for now I wanted to share with you part of a letter I received from Blanca in Ecuador last week.
She told me that she is getting good marks in school, which is awesome, but the best part was near the end of the letter when she said: "I love you very much and I'd like to see you again because I felt so happy when you came to visit me. I loved seeing you and I don't know whether I will see you again or not."
If only she knew how badly I want to go back to Ecuador to visit her! I remember the day we met, when she was 7, before the day was even over she asked when I would be coming back--I told her I would love to come back but would have to wait until God made it possible, aka I don't know for sure when I will be coming back, and she let out a very dramatic sigh :P Hopefully it will happen in the future!
She also drew me this picture:
If you can, go visit your Compassion kids at least once! It will make a huge difference in your life and in theirs.
